Mr. Williams is a United States Marine. He is currently the Commandant of Marine Corps League #184 in St. Louis, MO. He graciously gives back to the community in many ways. One way is his dedication to help take care of children of our Fallen. He met Julie Vinnedge several years back and was inspired by her mission. Mr. Williams is a valuable asset to this organization through his countless hours and efforts to raise funds and awareness for Fallen Hero’s Dream Ride.

Carol Biggerstaff

In 03/2003,  son was deployed to Iraq.  It was the scariest and proudest moments in my life.  Many people stood by me, helping me.  He made it back home.  It is important to me and my family to remember there are others still deployed and to remember, honor those who gave their all.

Brenda Williams, Secretary

Brenda Williams

Mrs. Williams is a patriot who is especially committed to helping the children of our Fallen. As the wife of a Marine, she understands the importance of honor, courage and commitment. Carrie Logan

Carrie Logan

Hi, I’m Carrie!  I support FHDR because I believe it achieves so much more than its mission.  It creates fun experiences, good memories and a support system for the families of the fallen.  But it also serves those who volunteer to help raise money, plan the events, and provide a shoulder on which to cry or a laugh to share.  My grandfather, father, brother, and boyfriend all served. While I am lucky enough to still have them in my life, I’ve seen how the loss of their military brothers has had lasting affects on their lives, and how that also affects how they interact with others.  It is crucial that we build a community of awareness, understanding, and rebuilding.
About me:  formal education in plant sciences, work in Quality Assurance, LOVE my fur babies (3 dogs and 2 cats), spend my time working out, shopping flea markets and antique malls, FHDR events, and hanging with my friends of course!

Anthony Dafflitto, Veteran - USMC, 3/5 Marine on Sangin deployment with Phillip.

Anthony Dafflitto

Anthony was born and raised in south St. Louis, Missouri.  He joined the Marine Corps upon graduating high school in 2005 to begin his 8 year journey.  He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan for 2 years and Camp Pendleton for 6. While stationed at Camp Pendleton, Anthony deployed to Sinjar, Iraq with 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Sangin, Afghanistan with 3rd Battalion 5th Marines, and Musa Qala, Afghanistan with 2nd Battalion 5th Marines.  During his deployment to Sangin, he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with Combat Distinguishing Device. Anthony discovered Dave and Julie Vinnedge through his mother in 2012 and now continues to honor the fallen and the wounded by volunteering for Fallen Hero’s Dream Ride.

 Pierce Krieger, Veteran - USMC

Pierce Krieger

Pierce Krieger served in the Marines from 2013-2016.  He continues his public service as a Police Officer in Warrenton, Missouri.  In addition to his public service, Pierce is active in the construction industry.  Pierce enjoys being able to help others, and learned of Fallen Hero’s Dream Ride’s mission in 2017. He began volunteering for events and has since become a board member.
